Long time no blog, Gamelings!
Unfortunately I had to get a real job.

I am back, though, now that my life has mellowed out a bit!

Some news on the home-game-front:
We will NOT be covering Keen Halloween this year due to financial issues.

We WILL, however, cover it next time!
I mean, come on, as a blog we are still in our infancy.

We are baby bloggers in a way.
 So that's the bad news...

no Keen Halloween coverage this year. 

We are still working on making it to Phoenix Comicon Fan Fest this year and we definitely hope to see you all there!!!

Halloween is Peachy Keen, Jellybean!

Hey, gamelings!
Boy, do I have some news for you!

Well, about a week ago, I applied for Press Passes to Keen Halloween in Phoenix. My fingers shakily bounced from key to key as I filled out their application for media. We are a fairly new blog and I was fully aware that we could be turned down, pushed out, stomped on, laughed at, etc. 

(Or maybe I am just a super naturally anxious person... HaHa... Get it? Supernaturally??)

Minutes passed.

Hours.
Days.
A week.

I checked our email constantly begging for a sign.
Even a denial would have been better than the nail-biting, hair-pulling, eye-bulging stress of waiting.

Today I didn't bother checking my email first thing in the morning. I had more urgent things to do at home. I finished what needed to be done, took a few deep breaths, and clicked on my little "Mail" icon.

Cthulhu told me to...

There...

Right there..

Sitting in our inbox was an email from Keen Halloween.
From my phone all I could read of the email was,
"The Pinup Gamer your press application has been..."

My hands got shaky again.
My heart began to pound.
My breathing became rapid.
I clicked the email.


ACCEPTED!

Transformers: Robots in the desert?

Some pretty cool news comes to us Arizonans today as Transformers 5: The Last Knight Is being filmed along the 303 loop in Arizona!

That part of the highway, from I-17 to Lake Pleasant Parkway will be closed for a few days but the Arizona Department of Transportation has set up alternative routes for all of you travelling through there! 

Now I know that this is super cool news but that doesn't mean you should go sneak a peek!
